NFL Predicitions week 14 2005 - Colts continue undefeated
Last week was a solid week, but I was upset that the Browns lost. This week there are a set of good games and a few dogs. The Colts will not lose today, so I am making that my guaranteed pick. My upset special is the Packers over the Lions. Brett Favre has something to prove and you know he will this week.

Cumulative (132 games): 87-45 - 66%
Chicago at Pittsburgh
For some reason everyone seems to think the Steelers will win this game. I'm at a loss as to why. Sure, the Bears have a couple of defensive starters out, but the Steelers have an injured quarterback and a bruised ego. No way the Steelers win this game. Bears 16 - Steelers 13.
Cleveland at Cincinnati
Cincinnati needs to win this to continue their chance of winning the AFC North outright. The Browns are starting a rookie and QB against the Bengals interception squad. It's compounded by Braylon Edwards being out. Bengals 35 - Browns 21.
Houston at Tennessee
The first stinker game of the week. The Texans are just a horrible team this year and the Titans are the youngest. Should be a good game of back and forth, so if you're fans of the team you'll enjoy it. The rest of us will yawn. Titans 27 - Texans 17.
Indianapolis at Jacksonville
It's trendy to say this is where the Colts will lose their first game. People point to their first meeting this year as some kind of proof that the Jaguars can hang with the Colts. Unreal. The Colts have gotten much better throughout the year. No way they lose this one. Colts 27 - Jaguars 12.
New England at Buffalo
Patriots can win the AFC East with some help from other teams today. I can't stand the Patriots, but Brady had an awful week last week, so you know he's going to be ready to go. The Bills are crushed after hanging 20 odd points on the Dolphins in the first half last week, and then losing in the final seconds. Patriots 24 - Bills 20.
Oakland at N.Y. Jets
Curtis Martin is out. That's probably the only reason this game was going to be exciting, so it's going to be a yawner. You could watch to see the new Raiders offense, but so what. Raiders 28 - Jets 17.
St. Louis at Minnesota
Ouch. This game will be fugly. The Rams are going into the Metrodome a NFL team, they'll come out a pop warner team. They've paid lip service to running the ball more, but the Vikings will have 21 on them by halftime. Vikings 37 - Rams 24.
Tampa Bay at Carolina
Game of the week. This is for the AFC South and a manhood game. Which team is man enough to take this game? Love the Bucs, but the Panthers are the team on the rise in the AFC South. Panthers 21 - Buccaneers 13.
N.Y. Giants at Philadelphia
It's popular to say the Eagles will beat the Giants today, but the Giants defense is too good to allow this to happen. The Bears are getting all the love on defense this year, but the Giants are the surprise defensive team, especially in the last four week. Giants 23 - Eagles 13.
San Francisco at Seattle
Whoop ass game of the week. The Seahawks starters will be benched at halftime since the Seahawks will have the game. Seahawks 33 - 49ers 10.
Washington at Arizona
This game is going to be fun to watch. I think the Cardinals are improving, but the Redskins are fighting for their playoff lives. Portis will run wild, so the Cardinals will come up short. Redskins 23 - Cardinals 16.
Baltimore at Denver
Yeah, Brian the man in Baltimore has beaten Mike the man in Denver in every match up they've had. Not today. The Broncos have too much fire power for the Ravens to handle. Broncos 32 - Ravens 17.
Kansas City at Dallas
Chiefs and Cowboys both need this game to entertain any playoff hopes. Which one will step up to make this happen? Larry Johnson and the Chiefs will make it happen, which will pretty much eliminate Dallas from the playoffs. Chiefs 28 - Cowboys 21.
Miami at San Diego
The Dolphins think that last week's come back against the Bills means something. It doesn't. The Chargers will win this one running away. Chargers 34 - Dolphins 23.
Detroit at Green Bay
The Packers are out of all the races, but they have pride. And cold weather. The Lions are disfunctional, so pride beats disarray in this match up. Packers 31 - Lions 19.
New Orleans at Atlanta
The Saints have been screwed by the NFL all season long. This time it'll be Michael Vick doing the screwing. Falcons 41 - Saints 31.
