Tom Kite Disqualified from MCI Heritage
Golf is an odd sport. There are a number of ways that after you've finished playing you can be disqualified in golf, but signing the wrong scorecard? Yep.
Tom Kite has a long and distinguished career as a professional golfer having won many majors and even more tournaments. He's been a pro for 23 years. Yet, he was disqualified from the MCI Heritage tournament.
Tom Kite's crime? He noted a 4 on a hole when it was a 5.
What?!?!?
How silly is it when one of the golf's greats can make a simple mistake and be disqualified?
Disqualifications are nothing new. Some make sense, but some are just idiotic.
