Choi Sang-ho wins the Maekyung Open - oldest winner on Asian tour
So you hit 50 years of age and you peak. That's what happened to Choi Sang-ho as he won the Maekyung Open today and with the win becomes the oldest golfer to ever win on the Asian tour.
Choi lead throughout the tournament, but had a very good reason to:
"This is my home course where I've been the club pro for 15 years. After taking the first round lead, I was very anxious and couldn't eat or sleep well this week."
With an advantage like that he was a shoe in to win the tournament and become the oldest golfer to ever win on the Asian tour.
Choi Sang-ho won $500,000 for wining the Maekyung Open.
