New York's Unions say, "Yes" to Olympics

The Olympics are a massive effort requiring many many workers and volunteers. Yet none of the Olympics would happen without professionals and a large number of those professionals are union folks.

Imagine my shock when I saw that the city's labor unions agreed to no strikes during the Olympic if they are awarded to New York City.

The New York City Olympia organizer's senior advisor, Donna De Varona said it's never happened before in Olympia history. I mean could you imagine all bus workers walking off the job in the middle of the Olympic?

Just this year when the IOC visited France there was major strike going on. Isn't that a nice impression to leave with the commission?
