Peter King Watch: Getting tough on steroids in the NFL

Peter King's April 4th article is up and it addresses the issue of steroids in the NFL, the Broncos pickup of Browns defenders and his top ten looks into the pope and Phillip Rivers.

Peter starts off his article talking about issues relating to steroids in the NFL. Peter starts off talking about his history in covering steroids, which includes Ben Johnson in the Olympics. He turns the discussion to Stanozolol and gives the history of the steroid. It's good coverage and explains why this is an old steroid and how it is used.

He then turns his attention to the recent steroids issues with the Carolina Panthers. Peter handles this well and sums it up nicely:

Stanozolol. Is someone using one of your father's steroids? If so, there's something rotten in Denmark.

Peter then talks with NFL staff attorney Adolpho Birch, who handles the steroid program for the NFL. It's a good way to hold the NFL accountable. Peter does detail how the steroids wouldn't have been found in testing. Great read.

His top ten things I think includes a note about the pope and Peter King's latest fantasy baseball draft. It's cute he still calls it rotisserie. His fantasy baseball lineup looks about as good as mine, so he's in trouble.

He goes on to say he thinks Ty Law will be with the Jets and that Charles Woodson shouldn't be brought back.

This week's article was better than last week's and if his information on steroids is any indication, he's going to tear into this story.
