Dennis Green the coach afraid of himself
Talking about soft spots ... I used to hate the Arizona Cardinals. More specifically, their owners the Bidwells. The Bidwells are the one who took their team out of St. Louis. Supposedly, there was better weather and a new stadium in the desert. Joke was on them, though, as St. Louis got a new team, new stadium and super bowl championship all before they broke ground on a new stadium.
Last year and going into this year, I've become an Arizona Cardinals fan. Last season it was due to their scrappy players, Pat Tillman and Dennis Green. All three are folks who don't get enough credit for what they do.
This year was going to be great. Kurt Warner moved to the Cardinals and was going to lead them to the playoffs. He got hurt and in came Mr. McCown. Now, Dennis Green isn't saying who is starting quarterback will be on Sunday.
Why not?
It's not like the Tennessee Titans give a crap if either one comes out to play. What kind of play is this? Is Dennis afraid of the reaction from his players?
Even though I am a huge Warner fan, he should start McCown.
