Why would New Orleans Saints move to Los Angeles

Professional football is my favorite sport. No, I'm not talking soccer, but American professional football. The pigskin kind that is violent, physical and always fun to follow. It's a same the season only lasts 16 weeks. My love for the game clouds my judgment sometimes, but why in the world would the New Orleans Saints move to Los Angeles?

As reported by Mark Maske and Leonard Shapiro of the Washington Post, the plan is for the NFL to move the New Orleans Saints to the Los Angeles area. Remember, this is the same area that has lost two football teams in the last decade or so. First, the Los Angeles Rams moved to St. Louis, then the Los Angeles Raiders moved to Oakland. I think the city has had its chance to have a team.

That's not enough for the NFL. They want to move a team to Los Angeles for the following reasons:

The attendance figures for both the Rams and Raiders were no where near what they are in their new cities. Again, Los Angeles had their chances and they blew it.
