NFL Predictions Week 10 2005 - Dolphins will eat the Patriots
Last week I went 11-3, another great week! Here are the statistics so far:
Week 5 Predictions (14 games): 6-8 - 42%
Week 6 Predictions (14 games): 10-4 - 71%
Week 7 Predictions (14 games): 9-5 65%
Week 8 Predictions (14 games): 11-3 - 79%
Week 9 Predictions (14 games): 11-3 - 79%
Cumulative (70 games): 47-23 - 68%
Arizona at Detroit
Who to pick in this one? Kurt Warner will be playing against Joe Harrington. Both of them suck. Neither team can run the ball. I feel sorry for those who get this game on their local station, and don't have Directicket. Gotta go with Warner. Cardinals 21 - Lions 17.
Baltimore at Jacksonville
Jacksonville scared me to death last week against the Texans. The Ravens will have Kyle Boller back, so you think that's going to help them. If the Texans almost beat the Jaguars you have to think the Ravens will beat them. Ravens 17 - Jaguars 13.
Houston at Indianapolis
Oh man, start are the Indianapolis Colts you have on your fantasy team. This is the lock of the week. Colts 42 - Texans - 10.
Kansas City at Buffalo
Brass balls rides again, so will the Chiefs have what it takes to beat the Bills? The Bills defense has really taken a nose dive this year, but the Chiefs defense isn't too far behind. I still like the Chiefs. Chiefs 27 - Bills 17.
Minnesota at NY Giants
Talk about your trap games. The Minnesota Vikings are playing like they have nothing to lose right now, and the NY Giants are the darlings of the media. Had this game been in Minnesota, I'd pick the Vikings. Since it's at the New York you have to go with the Giants. Giants 27 - Vikings 24.
New England at Miami
When is the last time a New England Miami game mattered? Well, it matters this week and it's in Miami. This is the upset special of the week, as the Dolphins will run over the Patriots. Dolphins 17 - Patriots 13.
San Francisco at Chicago
The 49ers are getting their cracks against division number one teams. First it was Tampa, then New York and now Chicago. Although the 49ers are an improving team, they don't have enough to beat the Bears. Bears 24 - 49ers 17.
Denver at Oakland
Broncos coming off a bye, while the Raiders are coming off a heart ripping loss to the Chiefs. Broncos are going to destroy the Raiders. Broncos 35 - Raiders 22.
NY Jets at Carolina
Carolina is the team to beat in the NFC, while the Jets are chasing the off season. Had the Jets won last week, we might be inclined to choose them. No way they get within 10 of the Panthers. Panthers 30 - Jets 10.
Green Bay at Atlanta
Dome. The place that traded Favre away. Hmmm. In a normal year this would be a great game. Since this is the year the Packers have actually bought a hospital to house all their wounded players, this won't be a contest at all. Falcons 28 - Packers 14.
St. Louis at Seattle
Rams are coming off a bye, and they get back three offensive weapons in Holt, Bruce and Bulger. The Seahawks are becoming media darlings, but let's not forget the Rams own them. Rams 33 - Seahawks 24.
Washington at Tampa Bay
I don't know what to make of either of these teams. I drunk from the Buccaneers Kool Aid early in the year and look where it got me. Each week I count out the Redskins and they seem to win. I think the Buccaneers have enough to make it happen. Buccaneers 17 - Redskins 9.
Cleveland at Pittsburgh
Oh, the hopeless Browns. Oh, the hopeless Browns on the road. Oh, the hopeless Browns on the road in Pittsburgh. No way the Browns make a game of this. Steelers 24 - Browns 10.
Dallas at Philadelphia
Tough nut to crack here. TOless Eagles may be inspired at home to win. The future team of TO may be inspired to kick the Eagles when they're down. I can't see the Eagles losing this one, though. Eagles 20 - Cowboys 17.
