Tampa Bay at New England
Ouch. Good game to start this early weekend of football with. I despise the Patriots, but many people seem to think they're peaking at this time of the year. Too bad the Buccaneers are going to stomp them. Buccaneers 19 - Patriots 17
Kansas City at New York Giants
A must win for both teams. Eli manning has been struggling and the Chiefs lost a heart breaker last week against Dallas. It used to be Eli played better at home, but not today. Even with Eli having another bad game the Giants defense will be too much for the Chiefs to deal with. Giants 32 - Chiefs 24.
Denver at Buffalo
The Denver ground game against one of the worst rushing defenses in football. Hmmm, I'm thinking the Broncos run all day. The Bills are in disarray on offense and the team is emotionally crippled after letting the Dolphins come back against them a couple of weeks ago. Nothing changes here. Broncos 24 - Bills 13.
Arizona at Houston
Kurt Warner must have dreamt of this match up all week. You have the worst rated pass defense going against Kurt Warner and his young receivers. It's going to get bloody in this one. Cardinals 34 - Texans 19.
Carolina at New Orleans
It's a "home game" for the Saints, but the results will be the same. The Panthers need this game to keep pace in the NFC South, while the Saints will be starting a new quarterback. No way the Saints come close to winning this game. Panthers 23 - Saints 12.
New York Jets at Miami
Don't look now, but a Dolphins win and a Patriots loss puts the Dolphins one game behind the Patriots for the division lead. I think Mr. Saban is on to something with these Dolphins. The streak continues. Dolphins 30 - Jets 24.
Philadelphia at St. Louis
Oh how silly we prediction specialists are with schedules. Looking at the NFL scheduled in the beginning of the year most of us assumed this game would mean something big. Oh, it's big alright. It's so big that the winner gets to claim they aren't the worst team in the NFC. Ryan Fitzpatrick will have another awful game and the Eagles will run right over the Rams. Eagles 31 - Rams 17.
Pittsburgh at Minnesota
Upset special of the week. The Steelers need this win to continue their charge towards the playoffs. The Vikings need this win to continue their playoff hunt. The team that loses will probably miss the playoffs. Don't bet against the Vikings at home. Vikings 27 - Steelers 24.
San Diego at Indianapolis
Too many people have too many opinions on how the Colts should play these final weeks. If you heard Peyton this week there is no way they'll ease up and rest people. He wants the record, which means they're going to go for it. The Chargers are lead by Marty Schottenheimer. This isn't good as he always finds a way to lose the big game. This is my lock of the week. Colts 37 - Chargers 32.
Seattle at Tennessee
The Seahawks playoff warm up continues. The Titans have no weapons capable of stopping the Seahawks offense, so it'll be a quick half and out for the Seahawks starters. Seahawks 35 - Titans 24.
San Francisco at Jacksonville
An interesting game since Jacksonville needs the win to stay in the AFC playoff picture. I would anticipate a fired up 49ers team looking to play spoiler, but in the end the Jaguars will win the close game as they usually do. Jaguars 27 - 49ers 23.
Cincinnati at Detroit
Yeah, I don't know what happened to the Bengals last week either. Let's just say they took the week off. They'll be about business in Detroit and the Lions won't know what hit them. Bengals 33 - Lions 20.
Cleveland at Oakland
I'm a big fan of Charlie Frye. If Romeo Crennel had actually used the rookie earlier in the year, don't laugh, they might be in the thick of the playoff hunt and the Texans would be winless. I like them in this game since the Raiders are self-destructing. Browns 30 - Raiders 21.
Dallas at Washington
Brutal match up in the NFC East. Two old school NFC East coaches go after each other and it's going to be the most physical game of the weekend. The Cowboys will end up victorious on a last minute field goal. Cowboys 20 - Redskins 17.
Atlanta at Chicago
The Bears got spanked last weekend and it wasn't pretty. The Falcons think they can win with an injured Vick. It's not happening. The Bears are too tough against Michael Vick. Bears 17 - Falcons 13.
Green Bay at Baltimore
One of the more boring MNFs this season. The only reason to watch is that it's possibly Brett Favre's last Monday Night Football appearance. For that reason you have to like the Packers. Packers 24 - Ravens 16.
