Malcolm Glazer is not giving up on Manchester United
Malcolm Glazer owns the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he's trying hard to buy Manchester United. He already owns a quarter of the team and his latest offer is over the top.
Glazer has offered $1.53 billion dollars for the club with most of the money coming from borrowed funds.
Cubic Expression owns another 29% of the company and the deal is hinging on how they feel about it.
Will the deal go through? Things look good as British law calls for boards to maximize shareholder value and Glazer can sue if they don't accept. Based on Manchester United's past responses it isn't likely.
