The quarter finals of the Championship League are underway and today saw Inter Milan vs. AC Milan. Both clubs have rabid fans and it showed in this game. Not only were bottles and other rubbish thrown onto the field, but flares. Yes, flares. You know, the kind that are lit on fire.
The game was stopped with 17 minutes left as spectators rained lit flares onto the pitch. It's an embarrassment for two of the finer clubs in Europe.
