What position did Bronko Nagurski play
Bronko Nagurski of Minnesota is the only football player to have been named for two positions on one All-American Football Team. (New York Sun 1929 ). There were many people at that time who thought a 10 man team with Nagurski could beat any 11 man team without him. He was named for both Tackle and Fullback.
In both College or Pro-Football it was noted that once Bronko had taken 2 or 3 steps ( enough steps to gain a little momentum ) he was virtually unstoppable. Even after a lull of several years of football inactivity between 1937 and 1943 Bronko returned to the Chicago Bears to help them win yet another World's Championship.
