Leading off the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 7 of the 1960 World Series, Bill Mazeroski homered over the left-field wall at Pittsburgh's Forbes Field to give the Pirates a 10-9 triumph over the New York Yankees and their first Series championship in 35 years.
Yogi Berra. Yankees' longtime catcher who was in left field when Mazeroski hit his climactic homer in the October 13 game.

Ralph Terry. Yankees' pitcher off whom Mazeroski connected, making the Pittsburgh second baseman the only man in history to end a Series with a homer.
