John McKay having pioneered with the I-Formation to the point of success and having coached California's first Heisman Trophy winner, Mike Garrett, has naturally had some tempting offers.
These offers have been generous enough to induce almost any man to turn to Pro-Football. If he remains at the University of Southern California it doesn't mean that he looks down on professional football, it is just that he appreciates the esteem with wihch he is held by the Trojans. He feels that his teams in the future can defeat Eastern teams again and again in forthcoming Rose Bowl encounters.
