Arnold Palmer Moving the Ball

Arnold Palmer, who won more money than any other golf pro in history, tells about a golf player he once knew who became notorious for always moving his ball into a better playing position. When the man suddenly died, all his golf club members joined in the arrangements for a fitting funeral. Then the president of the golf club instructed the funeral director:

"Make sure you stamp the ground down hard after he's lowered into the grave."

"Why?" asked the puzzled undertaker.

"Because if you don't, he'll be trying to improve his lie."
