Murder convict execution practice swing

A murderer, condemned to be hanged, was visited by the warden the night before the execution.

"Is there anything you'd like to do before we-er-spring the trap?" asked the warden.

"Yes, I would," replied the murderer who happened to be a golf nut. "I'd like to try a practice swing."
