How do you buy archery targets
Targets. There are two general kinds of targets, machine-made and hand-made. The machine-made targets are constructed by compressing short straw and binding it on both sides with burlap. It is cheaper than the hand-made type but when old becomes soft, permitting arrows to pass through. Its main advantage lies in the fact that straw does not scatter from it so easily as from the hand-made type because of the fact that it is bound in burlap.
The hand-made target is constructed of long rye straw wound back and forth around itself and stitched firmly. It is more expensive and at the same time more serviceable than the machine-made type.
