What archery equipment do you need to shoot arrows

Other Essentials.--The bow, arrow, and target are necessary adjuncts to archery. There are a few other aids and conveniences, such as quivers, arm guards, and finger tabs which, although not absolutely essential, go to round out the archer's complete equipment.
Quivers.--A quiver is a receptacle for carrying or holding arrows. One kind is made of leather and is used especially when hunting. A wire ground quiver is more suitable for inside or outside target shooting.

Arm Guards. All archers, amateurs or professionals, should wear some kind of an arm protector. Theoretically a good archer should not hit his arm with the bow string, but occasionally the bow string will whip the left wrist, causing a severe bruise or welt, if the arm is not protected. Guards may be made of leather or fiber lined with felt, and made to lace or buckle on the back of the arm.
Finger Tabs. - Unless the three shooting fingers are protected from the bow string they will become sore with constant shooting. A shooting tab or glove will afford this protection. The leather used for these protectors should be hard and stiff with a glossy surface. Cordovan leather embodies these qualities and is the best kind of leather to use.
