Chicago White Sox spring training pitchers schedule

One spring when the Chicago White Sox were in training camp, the team acquired an eccentric left-handed pitcher from Texas named Pat Caraway. They brought him North, and one cold and blustery afternoon the Sox were playing an early-season game in the Windy City. Late in the game, the shivering rookie approached the manager.

"Kin Ah go home, boss?" he asked through chattering teeth.

"What for?" demanded the astonished manager.

"Ah'm cold, an' Ah forgot mah overcoat," replied the southpaw.

Since the game was nearly over, the manager saw no harm in humor ing the eccentric youngster. Slapping him on the back, he said, "Sure, kid. Go ahead."

So the screwball pitcher scurried from the Chicago ball park and went all the way back home to Texas to get his overcoat.
