How to find great tips for horse betting
It was a fine spring morning, and Mrs. Blank surveyed the scene from her window with pleasure. Her glance fell to the street and she noticed a poorly-dressed man standing near the corner. Just then a man stopped and handed him a bill.
"I can do that, too," murmured Mrs. Blank to herself, "poor fellow might be starving."
She got an envelope, stuck a couple of dollars into it, and waved to the man. He came over to the window and she dropped the envelope into his hand. "Good luckr' she cried, and slammed the window shut.
The next day she was back at the window. There was the poorly dressed man again, walking up and down as though he were waiting for her. As soon as he caught sight of her, he beckoned to her to come down.
"Go ahead and help somebody," said Mrs. Blank to herself in vexation, "and see what you get for it." But then she thought better of it, and went downstairs to see what the fellow wanted. As she got to the street, the man thrust a well-filled envelope at her.
"Here's your $76," he said. "Good Luck paid 38 to 1. Who gave you that tip, anyhow?"
