Marion Jones May Compete Again at Hengelo
When we last left Marion Jones she was finishing dead last. This time she's trying to compete in the Hengelo meet in the Netherlands this week.
Of course, the American track and field community hasn't held the Balco incident against her, but the Europeans are holding it against her.
Richard M. Nichols think that organizers are working to keep her out:
They are "proactively encourage international track meet directors and promoters to deny Ms Jones entry into their respective competitions."
They Euro Meetings group will decide this week whether Marion Jones can compete or not. Why would you even want her there?
